NEEDS LEGAL REVIEW This policy describes how banchans.com works today. It will be updated before analytics, advertising, affiliate links or a newsletter are switched on.
What we collect
- No accounts. You can read Banchans without signing up or signing in.
- No analytics or advertising cookies are used at this time.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider, Google (Firebase App Hosting and Google Cloud), automatically records standard request information — such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to operate and secure the service. NEEDS LEGAL REVIEW — confirm log retention period
- Search runs in your browser. What you type into the search box is not sent to us.
- Newsletter. The sign-up form is not connected yet, and we do not store any email addresses entered into it.
Third parties
Fonts are self-hosted with the site. Pages may link to other websites; their privacy practices are their own.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Because we do not currently collect personal data beyond standard server logs, there is usually nothing to access or delete — but you can contact us with any request.
